The O.G & Where the Pilgrimage Starts
Go for its Jay Rayner-approved Philly cheesesteak; stay for your unequivocal home run into a Philadelphia backstreet dive bar. Tucked away on Fitzrovia’s otherwise chilled out Cleveland Street, Passyunk Avenue is a disco ball of neon Budweiser signs, televisions beaming out baseball, sports paraphernalia hung on every spare inch of wall and iconic US tunes ringing from the speakers.
Though unmistakably American, this is a place that simultaneously swats away notions of the all-American experience. The bar seeks to share the cultural inheritance of waves of Italian immigrants to Philadelphia and pays tribute to a city shaped by years of immigration through its menu of Philly-Italian die-hard favourites.

A massive venue, conceived as a cathedral to Philadelphia, our Waterloo joint takes the humble American dive bar and steps it up a level by combining all the best bits of a dive bar – unpretentiousness, friendly strangers, beer, bourbon, rock and roll with flat out fun and games. Literally games! In between watching baseball on our giant projection screen and swigs of Pabst Blue Ribbon, why not take swings in our baseball batting cages – just one of several in venue games to help pass the time.
